4 New - Sealed - BASF High Bias 90 Minute Cassette Chrome Extra II - Germany

Not as good as I expected

This model of BASF chrome requires a lot of bias. Not as good on high frequency as other chrome. But works good if you have manual bias calibration control.

Surprisingly good

These are surprisingly good tapes. Probably not a good collection brand, but makes a fine recording.

Beware of Chinese knock offs for TDK B tapes

These appear to be what are referred to as “knock offs”, cheap Chinese imitations of genuine TDK B tapes. They are not up to the standard of the real ones. But they are still usable for boom box/voice recording.
