Good price, good accuracy
This is my second one. Testing it's accuracy against a couple different digital thermometers and they both agree with the Etekcity unit.

Entertaining
I really enjoy sci-fi and this was entertaining.
Granted the premise is far fetched but entertaining none the less.

I recommend buying a radio that has allo digital controls, no analog controls to leak.
Good battery life and relatively easy to use. I bought two for communications between our kayaks. They both failed. Water travels down the volume control shaft and gets into the volume control and seizes them up. Parts are not available from Cobra so they are disposable.
