They work in helping control the undesirable drum overtones.
They do what is needed and are cost effective. They will not last long if you remove them and reposition then more then 3 or 4 times because the sticky wears off. However because of the price paid for them I don’t see that as a deal breaker. Placement on the drum head is critical and every drum has it’s own sweet spot.

I love having the extra gaskets for my old hoses. I had an old washing machine faucet that is no longer being used but had a drip. Problem solved!
A well build product that works as you would expect.

Worth every penny
For the money it is a very good buy. If you are planning to move it around a lot I would be somewhat concerned about the durability.
