Great little media PC
Note: This high review is mostly due to price/performance.
I recently purchased one of these to upgrade a media center PC in my living room. It was an older i3 3470t. Although it worked fine, the price of this, and the fact that it officially supports Windows 11 was a dealbreaker. I ended up buying 2 more, 1 for the bedroom, and 1 for a family member who was using an old full size tower for Browsing, Netflix and 1080p YouTube - 3 things this little thing can do easily.
I have said yes to "Is it fast?". Yes, it is very fast for the 3 things listed above. They all came with 2X4GB DDR4 2400 and I installed an SSD in each.
Can it game? Not anything new. I play an old racing game from 2006 and a couple of card games. Those are fine, but I would not expect to try anything new on this little PC. The video benchmarks are very low.
I have a Ryzen 5 5600x with 32GB RAM and a decent graphics card and for watching videos and browsing the internet I'm just as happy using one of these.

Works fine, but not the greatest sounding.
Let me first say that this little board does exactly what it is supposed to do. Add a couple speakers, a 12V supply, and an audio source and sound comes out the speakers. I used a 12V 5A supply that i I have used with other Class D and chip amps and feel that this one lacks bass compared to the others using the same speakers etc. Realistically, this board is usable up to about 5 WPC and it starts to distort looking up the datasheet will back up this statement. Where I have to give it a break is that for the price, and how simple it is to connect etc., it isn't really all bad. After testing, I put it in a case and brought it to work and hooked it up to a set of bookshelf speakers using a 2A power adapter. It is in the relatively quiet, but large warehouse and the guys back there like it just fine. I also like the fact that the volume pot can be turned to about 80% before any noticeable clipping can be heard At that volume the walls definitely aren't going to shake, but it is loud enough to listen to moderately loud music. After about 10 minutes of 80% volume the chip was only slightly warm. No heat sink would be required. High rating is based on price/performance.

Great radio, particularly for the price.
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich I've had this radio for about a year and a half, and use it mostly just to listen in as I don't have an amateur license. I listen to the local hams, fire department, and a couple civil services in my area. It works well for this. I used CHIRP to program it, and set it so I can't transmit on anything other than FRS / GMRS. I've used it while fishing, and have been able to clearly talk to family back at the camp a couple miles away, with some land between myself and the person on the other end. I have some BF-888s, a UV-5R, and a UV-B5 as well, and this one is my favourite. With the exception of the BF-888s I think the hardware is the same amongst the other three, but the UV-82 is just a bit better radio overall. The case feels like it's higher quality, and the bigger buttons and speaker make a difference. I see some reviewers have stated it is hard to program. With the proper cable and CHIRP (Free download) it is extremely simple, and is not that hard to program manually either (Google is your friend for finding instructions).
