A Great Update Fan

This fan is larger than my original fan, requiring enlarging the hole during the installation. The fan housing is designed to come apart and be installed in 2 parts. The outlet duct section is installed first. Then you slide the fan straight up through the hole and mate it with the outlet section. The 2 parts are secured together with a few screws. I found this fan to be quieter than my original fan, but I also think it's louder than the specifications stated. I didn't need a fan with a light, so this model met my needs and expectations. I would buy this fan again; I'm that satisfied with it.

Works great with a minor modification

The dogleg end that attaches to the drive engage bar on the operator's handle was a bit too large to fit in the hole and maneuver to fit properly. I even measured it with a caliper and it was over 0.5mm too large in diameter over the original one. I filed it down until I could maneuver it through the hole and around the bend. Other than this, the rest of the installation was a piece of cake. For the price, it was still a bargain.

Works as well as the original.

Works as well as the original (actually better since the original was broken). The only problem I encountered was because the way my mower is designed. The knot inside the handle had to be untied and the handle removed to pass the end through the hole in the engine cover. Other than that it's a direct replacement. Just unbolt the old one and bolt the new one in place!
