Dr. Patrick Walsh's Guide to Surviving Prostate Cancer, Second Edition

A must-have for every male.

Dr. Walsh's experience (he is the leader in the field) makes him the foremost authority on the prostate, the kinds of surgery available to extend one's life - and to retain sexual function (when that is possible). His advice saved my life six years ago. I wouldn't part with my book, and this one was purchased for another male in my family.

For one who loves Roy Orbison's mastery of voice, this shoddy effort by the CD's producers is painful to listen to.

The negatives in this review are not because I am no Orbison fan. They are precisely because I AM (and have always been) a fervent fan. With the release of this CD, latter-day money grubbers have placed the fattening of their wallets above professional excellence. The CD is not well engineered. In addition to the inept engineering, only some of the songs, as performed, deserve to have been released. Unfortunately (for Roy Orbison and for those who love him) fully 1/2 of the songs should not have been selected. Not every time someone sings from the shower does the result attain the level of perfection the singer is capable of. Roy would be dissatisfied and embarrassed by this release. Shame on someone.

Far safer than working from a ladder.

It appears to be of good quality for the price. As others have noted, it is a bit top heavy when extended and used vertically. That can be helped some by extending the handle fully, thus widening the distance between one's hands. What risk remains is far less than the risk of working from a ladder (or a makeshift elevation device) which would otherwise be used (ask how I know).
