Very good external amp value
I purchased this amp to use as an external amplifier for both mobile and base ham radio equipment. Provides exactly what was needed, and the bass and treble controls are a plus as well. Very small, runs cool (with my application) and makes a great external audio system for line level devices. I have been using this over two months and I'm quite pleased.

Makes sense for a handheld
The perfect solution to the two issues I have had with the Yaesu GPS
1) Eliminates the need to buy the expensive mounting bracket
2) Provides a MUCH more versatile means of positioning the GPS unit for a good signal
Acquiring a signal and locking coordinates took place in about 30 seconds.

Surprisingly Good Quality
Unusually good quality cable, very flexible, and the 12' length makes it ideal for automotive applications with Ham radio gear such as was my application.
