A good glasscutter for the money.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I am just an amateur glass cutter making photo frames as required. The Silverline glass cutter scored into the 1.5mm float glass with ease. Most scored areas broke over an edge easily.
Either partially fill with oil or dip the TCT into oil before use. This is a requirement.
Some knack is needed here, but I found cutting glass with this nicely made piece of kit to be easier than you think.

18V brushless Hitachi drill.
I have only used this new Hitachi drill a couple of times so far. Drilling 1 1/2 " holes into a wooden gatepost is no contest for this drill !.
Its easy to see the quality of the chuck which locks onto the bit, and the general quality of the build of this drill. Probably better that my old Dewalt. It has great torque probably due to the brushless motor. What more can I say. I think it will last well. At £159.00 inc 2x 3Ah batteries & charger I think its a good value deal. The batteries look robustly made, & the first charge on both was without problems.

Nikon's New baby.
Just a brief review about this fine Nikon fens. So far I have only taken a few pics. with this new lens, but its clear that this is the sharpest lens in my bag with excellent contrast also.
At this price, most photographers should own one of these. Its an easy grabshot, walkabout lens. The results are stunning, even in lowlight.
It is a bit plasticky I suppose, yet its traditional Nikon build quality off sets this.
This 7 element lense is a G type, so there's no aperture ring. The aperture is set on one of the Nikon body control wheels. I prefer this. The autofocus on my 610 is quick & near silent using the AFS focusing system.
Theres not much to add about this lense except that at this price (or even more) the optical performance is truly excellent. It is lightweight & inconspicuous, and can be used in manual mode, or autofocus with manual overide. Go on and buy one, you wont regret it!
