You Get What you pay for
This is a Kodak product. Kodak, to the best of my knowledge, is not known for its printers. I've actually had about 4 of them over the years. I use it solely for faxes and scanning. I have an HP Laser Jet Pro that I use for "printing." The Kodak fax/scanner works most of the time. I bought it "used" although it came in a new box. I had lots of extra toner and and 2 printer heads, so I figured I'd deal with it and deal with it I do. I've had it set-up for a week. Every now and then, I have to reboot it so the scanner works, but it does work. With my past Kodak printers, customer support has been pretty good. Kodak printers seem to burn through printer heads pretty quickly but it could be that I use the recycled toner cartridges. At least that's what Kodak would tell you. I doubt that's the issue. It's a cheaply made printer that does that works for me, at least for now.
