Rare and treasured model of a first car aerodynamic project. Love it.
Bought this rare 1:43 scale model of the 1984 Aston Martin Nimrod, sponsored by Bovis Homes and with bodywork developed specifically for Lord Downe who underwrote the project at the time. Only two cars were built and it raced at LeMans in Group C in 1983 and 1984. This is a model of the first car I did real wind tunnel testing on - and we used our two shifts of wind tunnel time with a 25% model to significantly improve the aerodynamics and cooling of the car. Wanted a model for my collection. Arrived in perfect condition and will last my lifetime. Added it to my collection of other models of cars I've had a hand in designing. Very happy. Thank you.
