Wanted a nice portrait lens...
Very smooth accurate focus, pretty fast also. All metal body makes it feel like you've got a real quality piece of machinery. It's heavy but that is actually quite nice. I like the fact that it's totally manual and think anyone would become a better photographer using a manual lens. The image is very sharp and the bokeh is creamy smooth. F2.8 which is large for a 135mm makes for decent low light shooting. I would recommend this lens to anyone.
