I have been collecting for 35 years ever since my kids were small so we all collected from car boot /jumble sales as we didnt have much cash As my children became adults we still collected toys especially those from our childhood selling any twicers on to buy more etc . I still carried on amassing a lot of good items in the loft and are still downsizing !but unfortunately still buying items i like as i seem to like to photograph and put them in scenes then i pass them on ! i still try not to buy but as my collection is now getting smaller {at last}i have the odd purchase to vent my hobby,its not the making of any monies [i put that back] its the hunt and display i like doing ,often sometime loosing more cash than i put in .Sadly due to ebays buyer protection racket [ charging excessive fees to the buyer] i am on the verge of closing down my shop and bidding goodbye to ebay so you will see listings disappear as i am setting up again in ebid[ this takes time but thank you for buying
