Works great for B&W negs.

Only works with Windows XP so I left XP (dual boot) on a laptop so I could use the scanner. VuPoint seems to have no plan to upgrade its software which is a shame. Because of this you can buy one of these cheap. I've bought two. Gave one to a friend. I've used it mostly to scan old B&W negatives. It works great for these, but not so great for color slides but I guess you could use PhotoShop or some other program to do some correction. Only problem I've had with the B&W negatives is keeping them dust free, easy if you have carefully stored them in glassine sleeves.
