  Received promptly, well packaged, item description perhaps could have been a bit more detailed, the bag is actually quite worn, ie corners quite badly scuffed, linings bobbly, which you cannot tell by the one photograph either. It is fine for what I paid for it but if I had been involved in a bidding contest and paid more I would have been disappointed. With some tlc it will "come up" and it will still give years of service, but you couldn't give it as a present, say. Other communication good.

  Just to add that, with some leather treatment and a bit of elbow grease, the leather of the bag came up beautifully and I shaved the bobbles off the lining which made it look newer. I offered it to my friend as her present, explaining what had happened, and she loves it, so everything worked out OK after all.
