Go for it
It is an interesting tale with a slightly complicated time structure but well worth reading - but Hollinghurst always is.

Caine strutting his stuff with surprise ending
it is a dirty dozen rip off with some spectacular desert scenes some of which must have been hard work to film although I imagine stand ins did the worst bits. But clearly it was hot. The leads are all suitably cast and Caine does his wide boy act perfectly

Disaster movie
It is a dreadful film. Certainly one to collect but what they were all on beggars belief.. nothing wrong with the dvd however.
