Hard to get right
The old Celluloid nitrate guards are hard to match. This Allparts guard is pretty good and I'll use it on one of my builds.

The way it sounded when?
I bought this for my uncle because he liked the cassette tape of it that he bought in Branson, MI. Sure the songs are familiar, but they surely don't sound like anything that could be heard around a wagon train. How do I know that? I was never on a wagon train, but neither were drums sets, electric basses, organs or string sections.
While it would be nice to hear these songs done with just a couple guitars, maybe a fiddle and some harmonicas, this CD is fine for some really low-energy background music.
