Nice surprise
Bought these hoping for the best and expecting the worst. I thought that for such a low price there had to be some flaws or shortcomings. Wow was I wrong. These are well made, super comfortable day hikers and an incredible price. They look nice. The sole is rugged and grippy, the upper is waterproof and the fit is nicely adjustable to your foot. The insole is comfortable. What more can I say. If you need some lightweight waterproof day hikers these check all of the boxes. Highly reccomend.

Solomon excellence
This I'd my second pair. These boots are solif, comfortable, and durable. The break in is very short. I have added Dr Scholls sport insoles to both and that is the perfect combination of cushion and comfort for me. User preference may differ but this is a solid duty boot built for all environments and conditions. I am a Deputy Sheriff that works 10-18 hours a day and foot pain is not an issue with these boots. Got them in black first and now these burro browns are every bit as well made and nice looking as the black. I've had other LEO's and firemen ask about them while on duty and comment on how solid they look. Bottom line is they are pricey but they have been worth every penny. I recommend 1/2 size up from your athletic shoe size if you wear thick socks like I do. Dont worry these baby's breathe so that has not been an issue even in hot weather. Great boots from a great company going for the green next.

Suprising quality
I've bought 2 of these for my ar pistols. Very nice for the money. Good padding and thick nylon. I could pay $50 and get a higher end model from a couple of other makers that are a little and I mean a little thicker and have more pockets but these more than do the job. If I'm running light and want to move without a bunch of bulk but still have 5 or six mags and some small tools and a field cleaning kit this more than accommodates that. If I need more protection and all of my range gear then I go hard case and range bag. This little case is hard to beat for the price. Everyone who has a shorty should own at least one of these cases.
