Fujitsu ScanSnap 1X500
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich I've been digitizing many of my paper files which I have archived many personal and reference materials. The Fujitsu is an excellent scanner with rapid on-the-spot scanning capability for small items. Resolution is excellent, the double-sided feature is great. The software works well. In fact, this works better than the large scale scanner I have at work. I actually bring materials home to scan rather than use the awkward scanner at work.
Would love if they could make a larger format device to do full-size magazine pages though, but I cannot complain too much- it does business cards, receipts and does a pretty good job on photos as well.

M8 inserts
Had to repair a poorly made piece of furniture where the legs were attached with poorly made cast threaded inserts. They are metric M8's which I could not find locally. This worked perfectly. It is of better quality than the cast parts which fractured. Nicely cut and formed screws. Worked well.

Bosch FL12
The Bosch FL-12 light is an excellent light source with several point-of-work mounting options. It can attach directly to a steel or iron surface using the built in magnets or hang through the use of a clip, or even be clamped to a surface. The LED light source is plenty bright for most applications. It also has a clean adjustment feature where it can be rotated to the desired position and it clicks into many possible positions. Finally, it uses the same battery I am already carrying on the worksite or even in my workshop for my Bosch 12V tools. My main complaint (and why only 4 stars) is that this is expensive.
