I have been building models for around 60 years. My first model was at 8 years old. After watching the movie "Flying Tigers" starring John Wayne, I just had to have a P-40 flown by the AVG in China. It was a 1:48 Monogram (# PA-96) P-40B "Tiger Shark". Its time to sell off my collection as I have more kits than I can ever build in my lifetime.
I have sold about 1/2 of my model kit collection thus far (April 2024). When that is exhausted, I will turn to selling my finished models.
I am now busy building 1/35 World War II dioramas featuring armor and figures. I have built some for my grandson and myself.
Hard to part with them. I will list some of these from time to time.
Hard to beat that feeling you get when you first open that new model kit...and start building!

I love aluminum turned barrels. The plastic barrels, I always end up messing things up. I like to worry about any of that with my aluminum barrel. Just be sure to clean your barrel surface before you fly paint you don’t want greasy spots there from even just your fingers so make sure you stand up and paint it. I did mine with acrylic paint work, right
