brilliant french film

I really enjoy these french sub-title films, the characters always seem to be real. Another true story, which always gets my attention straight away, the actors all played their parts brilliantly, especially the male lead. Very tense in parts, in fact the film was so good it kept my attention right until the end, no boring bits.

a film a must see.

I cannot believe that i had not watched this film before. The acting was brilliant, and the story as well. What made it such a worthwhile view was that it was a true story and brought it home to you what it was like to face the taliban in their own country. You could see that all the harsh training that they had to undergo for this mission, certainly helped them.

well worth viewing

I was told by a friend to view this polish dvd. Having been thoroughly repulsed by what the germans did in world war 2 and visiting several concentration camps set up by the germans which horrify me to this day. Many questions remain unanswered to as why they were so cruel. However, after viewing this dvd, and witnessing the torture of one character, which i found utterly beyond belief, that a human being could do this to another. Think you would need a strong stomach to keep watching these brave young men fighting back against all odds
