Increase the Versatility of the EOS R Lens Kit
3 von 5 finden das hilfreich This is a necessary adaptor if one wants to use an EF lens with the EOS R mirrorless camera. Since I bought only 1 new RF lens with my R and the fine RF lenses are so dang expensive, I have no choice but to use my also-fine legacy lenses. But since I bought only 1 adaptor with my camera purchase, I was stuck with the routine of mounting the adaptor on the lens, then the pair on the R, and when I'd switch, one cannot simply pull the EF lens and put another on. One must pull both, but the adaptor on the second EF lens, then mount it on the camera. That made the whole routine "picture-missingly- SLOW." So I bought 2 of these adaptors, and at least I can now keep one on each of my 3 most regularly used EF lenses. With my favored R 24-105, I now have a versatile and fairly swift (for a clumsy old man) tool kit!

Appreciate the nice Canon quality and function of this 2X extender!
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich While this 2X does not make my 70-200mm 2.8 L lens equal to an authentic 400mm L lens, it performs a bit better than I expected, and it enables me to pack a lot of flexibility into a small shoulder bag I can actually carry where I want to go. Maybe more important, that flexibility came at a price I could actually afford. Plus, added to my 1.4X and sacrificing just a bit more light and crispness, my flexibility surges ahead even more.
