Henry Red Allen: Live, 1965
For anyone who loves jazz, blues and swing, Red gives it all to us and leaves us wanting more. I bought this CD because I was lucky enough to be there the night it was recorded and some of the best music from that evening is on this cd. Other cuts were also released on Columbia "Feeling Good" but this is my pick. When we lost Red we not only lost a great talent but a great human being. Fortunately, he left us his music to enjoy and this is prime.

Don’t Miss It!
A little slow starting but once you get into it you can’t turn away from it. The music, the singing and the acting can’t be beat. This is a fantastic production of the Phantom of the opera.
