Lightweight and elegant
This is another one of those kitchen tools that I've had for years. I'm glad I've found it again so I can gift it. It's lightweight and easy to use. The weight actually is a factor if you're cleaning a whole lot of shrimp; your hand won't get as tired. I've tried other tools, but this has always been my favorite.

My stereoscope lives again!
I'm very happy to have found parts to revive this wonderful old device. The card holder works perfectly, and is just one of a number of replacement items for stereoscopes available. The seller even provides a selection of stains so that replacement pieces will match the original as much as possible. In the future I will not be passing up stereoscopes in poor condition now that I have found a source for parts to restore them.

Simple but efficient
I bought one of these years ago and have used it every time I open an avocado since, probably 3 or 4 times a week. It does everything you could ask of it, and does it better than a knife (because it's curved) or one of those gimmicky plastic things. Haven't hurt myself getting out the pit in years. I liked it so much I bought two more for other locations.
