xDSD rocks with HiFiman headphones
Purchased to play high quality audio through HiFiman headphones sourced from a Pioneer DAP, this open box sale item performs flawlessly with 16/44 through 24/192 audio tracks. It excels with the challenging impedance load of the headphones.
Source applications were the Pioneer supplied app and Roon app. The Roon app wouldn’t play higher sample rates than 24/48 on Android, but played everything when used on an iPad Pro with the xDSD (it just plugs in with the Apple USB-C camera adaptor kit).
Brilliant piece of kit, highly recommended!
