this was selected because it is a name brand and as such we felt confident that even if refurbished it would still be a good item for this person

DOES A GOOD JOB, CHASING AWAY SHADY CHARACTERS
Cars in our neighborhood have been broken into at an alarming rate
mine included 3 times.... including gas theft.
since installing this above the garage door, not even a warning bleep from the car alarm
the way this tracks an individual as the walk down the sidewalk, shining the bright light at them, even honest people are wary.
it even caught images of an individual breaking into a car across the street
I bought three more one for each side yard and one for the back yard
