The inspiration for "Cats"
Fine reading for a "cat person." T. S. Eliot's humorous take is fascinating. And the way it came about (sending cards anonymously to friends) makes it even better.

Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand
The definitive work of Ayn Rand's philosophy of objectivism. Thoroughly engrossing while exacting a strict mental challenge to grasp the disparate parts of her views of the world and the incredible human challenges that may be both accepted and conquered. Not a reading for the faint of heart or one unwilling to devote considerable energy to the task.
After digesting The Fountainhead last year, I decided to tackle Atlas Shrugged. It was worth every minute. She is surely one of the greatest minds in history, ranking with Einstein and Da Vinci. I look forward to reading and studying her thoughts for the rest of my years.
