Item does have strong cigarette smell but I will leave it outside with a dryer sheet to help reduce that smell, There is also ink pen scribbles in book so I wont say "like new" but is acceptable to me for the super fair price.

Great product, works for GoPro
I'm using this on my motorcycle helmet that I use for dual sport, so far it's held up to the vibrations. I'm using the wire tether from the GoPro kit to secure my camera from getting smacked by branches. I've rode in high winds on the highway and it held up fine in the cold 45 deg or so.
