Yellow flame and have a sooty bottom?? twist the metal label
If the burner burns with a yellow flame twist the metal instruction label ( the one next to the gas control that has the warning and pressure info) This allows air into the tube and the flame burns blue. Not easy to find as there are no instructions in the box.
Else its a big solid burner and easily brought a 25 litres of homebrew to a boil. But as I hadnt noticed the label twist the bottom of the pot was black with soot. One star dropped but would recommend
