classic hammer horror
I bought this firstly for the amazingly low price ,
Also in buying this title iv.e now completed my collection of hammer horror films
the film is very atmospheric ,with the usual creepy music score .
For me the 1970s was the golden age of films .
All the actors are superb in their respective rolls ,but the star of the movie is the lovely Valerie Leon .who stars both as the innocent daughter of professor Fuchs , and the Egyptian queen Tara an Egyptian queen with dark and sinister magical powers .
The terror stats when the professor Julian Fuchs ( Andrew Keir) brings back the queen to London ,and gives his daughter the beautiful but deadly ruby ring of the long dead queen .
As soon as she wears it she stats to get terrible and disturbing nightmares ,and gradually all hell breaks lose ,
She even ends up killing her boyfriend .
the climax of the movie is when Valerie kills the queen by stabbing her ,some cleaver filming as it looks like Valerie is playing two characters at the same time .
one unexpected side note there is a scene in the movie early on when you see Valerie getting out of bed naked ,and putting on her Knickers ,
A bonus for all men like me who have loved and followed this beautiful and talented actress throughout her career .
So there you have it ,great movie really entertaining .

inexpensive and does the job
Nice little cleaning kit for the money .
you have a good soft cleaning pad for your're Vinyl ,then housed in the top is a little plastic door that contains two small brushes for your're record players stylus ,
one brush is round with fine soft hairs , while the other has firmer bristles ,rather like a very compact toothbrush .
I have used the main cleaning pad both dry and a little damp with water ,both options do a fairly good job of keeping my records free from dust dirt and static .
of course you can spend a lot more and get say an anti static gun ,or a cleaning kit similar to this one ,but for the money this kit is just fine .

Classic 1973 prog rock
The CD is an old original , not the new digital remastered version .but no worries the recording quality is still sounding crisp and clear in my audiophile quality CD player .
The record it's self is Golden Earrings best LP , the full length version of Radar Love , but other great tracks including Are you receiving Me , with its jazzy sounding saxophone 🎷 solo .
Best number , the closing track Vanilla Queen a 9 minute prog rock epic.
