Basically Super Metroid 2
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich Super Metroid is a great game and Metroid Fusion stands on the shoulders of it. I remember wanting to play Fusion badly because I had so much fun with Super Metroid. Fusion takes things a step further by allowing some smooth gameplay mechanics with Gameboy Advance's lower button count. The colors are rich and there is some really cool sprite animation that includes simulated 3D enlargement and rotation, which is something you'd see in Genesis games, Super R Type III, or Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. The sprites are also a bit larger and well shaded; they look juicier and easier on the eyes. What's different in Fusion compared to other Metroids is that the game gives you clear objectives that tell you where to go next whereas previous Metroids left you to figure things out by searching and discovering on your own. Some may find that detracting but I don't mind it- the element of exploration is still definitely there. Sound effects are great with some satisfying explosion sounds. Overall it shows that the Gameboy Advance is most definitely a capable little system that can have great games.
