Performs as a commercial grade Cellular router/modem is expected to
Although this IBR650LPE-AT is an older version of the Cradlepoint COR IBR6xx modem/router series, it works as a commercial device should. This version is out of support but works as well as the newer models for it's intended purpose. It's performance is on par with current Digi products.
In a rural area, where signal is weak and prone to quality issues, throughput is much better on LTE when using the little built in antennas indoors than current iPhones get outdoors, both when using a high quality 'booster' (repeater) for the iPhone and the iPhone alone.
A set of outdoor 2MIMO log periodic antennas at 15' height got better results at 7 miles from the cell tower than the iPhone 13 gets at 1/4 mile from the tower.

Glitzy look, abysmal performance. (I have CLX485.)
CLX-485 is the same as CLX-465 but with Voicemail
PROS:
The speakerphone works good and the Voicemail works well also. Multi-function from the handset is handy. The ability to customize the color display is cool if you need that. The phone looks stylish if that is important to you. The screen is easy to read and the voice prompts from the voicemail are a good touch. It has a lot of nice features as it should for a 'high end' consumer phone.
CONS: If you actually want it to work, don't bother. For all the nice features, it fails to do it's primary job...BE A RELIABLE PHONE. It has abysmal range (unacceptable when more than 7-8 meters from base). It burns through the battery very quickly (approx 36 hr. standby, much lower if actually used). I don't know what they were thinking of when designing some of the add-on plastic mounts. Trying to open the little rubber cover for the headphone jack can be an exercise in frustration. This unit has been replaced twice. (see below) The OEM battery only lasted 4 months. I could go on and one but from reading in forums, it appears I am not the only one with this experience.
COMMENTS:
This was received as a gift. Initially I thought it was just a defective unit. I had it replaced and the operational issues were still there. That phone died in a few weeks. I had it replaced again and this one worked (same issues) for about 4 months but it required excessive charging despite careful 'conditioning' of the NiMh battery pack. I have used it only for the voicemail (battery died after 4 months) until recently purchasing some batteries from an ebay seller (batterygallery)and gave it to my Dad who never gets more than 3-5 meters from the base.
I have several friends with Uniden 5.8GHz phones (various models)and it is frustrating talking to them as they all have similar range issues (drop-outs, etc).
I am comparing this to a Panasonic KX-TG2432 2.4 GHz unit, a similar design and lower grade of phone. For less than half the price it came with 2 handsets, its range is 3+ times that of the Uniden, in standby with 15-20% talktime use its 4 year old OEM battery still will last approx a week. Down side to 2.4GHz is Microwaves and WiFi.
I now only use my Avaya Transtalk MDW90xx phones which are 900Mhz (many commercial wireless phones use 900MHz for good reason) with 300 meter (900+ft) radius range. NOTE: I am not comparing the Uniden to the Transtalk, that would not be fair at all.
This Uniden 5.8 GHz unit seems not quite ready for prime time.

Laser measure better than average, Bosch app needs work.
The GLM165-27CG is a bit pricier than the 27C but easier to see the green laser in brighter lighting than the red laser.
I’ve measured >75’ outdoors in full sunlight but your mileage may vary.
Bluetooth connectivity works well with multiple apps. The free Bosch provided Measure On app is OK but its promised cloud function hasn’t been deployed in US yet so your projects are stuck in your smart device although it will export to PDF, etc.
