Viair 280C Air Compressor Connecting Rod & Piston Rebuild Kit (RK148)

Rebuild time

I needed to rebuild my compressor for the Kelderman air ride on my truck, disassembled the compressor and installed new piston. I put the cylinder in a bucket of hot water and held the compressor upside down so the piston was in the water also. Give it a few minutes then remove and dry parts, couple drops of oil in the cylinder and slowly work the piston in at a angle. 0 to 125 in less than 4 minutes, 2 gallon tank.
