EXCELLENT WATERPROOFING
I am not using this epoxy for the intended purpose. I am using it to waterproof assemblies that will be submerged in the sea. Those assemblies have a hard, shiny, non-metallic surface that cannot be roughened by sanding or any other means, and there exposed electrical connections. Amazingly this stuff adheres tenaciously with no surface preparation or primers. I wash things with alcohol to remove any oils, and that's it. I apply it with a cheap brush without thinning and the surface self levels to a clear, smooth, hard, shine. I've been testing the various items for over a week underwater in simulated conditions that exceed the real expected environment, and I've had no failures, no water penetration, no loss of surface adhesion during mild flexing or thermal cycling. It appears to be a very tough product that truly works on things other than swimming pools or fish ponds, and it sticks to stuff with little encouragement. I noticed that it entrains a lot of tiny bubbles, more bubbles than I create by stirring components. I tried out-gassing that with a vacuum chamber, and it does not appear to be possible. I think it makes its own bubbles, but these have not caused any type of leakage or failures. I don't know how long it will hold up underwater in this application, but since it's made to last in swimming pools, it should be good here too. We'll see.

GREAT VALUE
Using in an old Zeiss Photo 1. Just as good as original equipment for a fraction of the price.

TWO STROKE MAYTAG MODEL 92-NOT HIT OR MISS-GOOD VALUE
This is called a "hit or miss" engine. IT IS NOT, as almost anyone knows. This is a two stroke Maytag model 92 gasoline engine for washing machines of the 30's. Moreover, the seller here has no idea what he/she/it is selling, but the price is just fine. Parts are readily available, it is easy to completely restore, and it will run forever. I've recently completely restored one and I'm tempted to get this, but, actually one is enough.
