Big things can come in small packages.
Finally a compact scanner antenna.For a receive only antenna you do not need larger RG58 cable. This cable fits the bill perfectly. It is easy to route the cable and the fact that it comes with a BNC/Motorola adaptor makes it even nicer.It is compact and the magnetic base is perfect too. Reception is as good as my old 21" mag. mount with its RG58 cable.

Tip is correct way to use your gun.
Always use the recommended tip for this gun, others won't last and may damage your gun.

Hard to beat with even the newer versions.
