Visually stunning upgrade who cares if there's a sonic improvement?
Yes people swear by the sonic benefits. Yes some people put the vinyl directly to it-I won't due to the need to do this whilst the platter spins and exposing my vinyl to damage if I clatter it to the rotating edge (I won't be told it doesn't happen) BUT there's no denying how fabulous it looks in position with light refracting through it. My Nad 533 is now pimped to a new dimension (with several other "sonic" upgrades that also happen look fabulous). Feel free to mock me but I tell the truth.

Platter height adjuster shims.
I appreciate that people will want to hear me describe the acoustic improvements. It makes sense to isolate my ultra low friction sub platter from the platter but I'm not sure I can tell. The real benefit is being able to quickly adjust the platter height on a turntable using a rega arm. Sorry. That's my take.

Top quality
I hadnt read any reviews on this but chanced across it whilst browsing. The weight of the package is quite striking. The lps are in two books which store in a box folder with the photo book. I've bought a fair amount of vinyl in the last few years and although prices are high the quality varies. This is Rolls Royce stuff. Stunning sound quality on flawless pressings. If your hifi is good enough and you like this band the sound quality will amaze and immerse you. I've spent hours and become totally lost in all of their live recordings. If you thought Hotel California couldnt get better - listen to the live versions. Wow. I treasure this.
