CPP power brake issue
overall the firewall mount unit was a big improvement, I already had a CPP unit mounted under the cab along the frame but was having a issue with fluid bleeding back from the wheel cylinders causing a stopping issue..
its a quality unit, but you can tell that not much engineering was put into the complete installation
process. I am not trying to re invent the wheel here but I had to make a couple of small modifications that could have bin built into the unit to complete the install.
First the under dash bracket is designed to mount to the original column drop mounting holes on the dash so if you are using a after market column drop the doesn't line up to the original hoes you have to fabricate a mounting adapter plate with flush mounting bolts.
second the brake pedal arm is so close to the column it hits the neutral safety switch, on my install I was able to heat and bend the pedal arm enough to clear the switch. see picture

poor craftsmanship , no quality controle
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich ups delivered my new bbr tuning frame today, the shipping box was totally destroyed, and the driver speed away as soon as he delivered the frame not giving me time to inspect the content. The frame only had minor damage, a few places where the paint was chipped. after looking the frame over I noticed that the motor mount was not only warped from being welded on, bit it was also welder on crooked, not sure at this point if the engine mounting holes will line up.it did come with a gas cap which was a surprise.

wrong format will not play on my DVD player
the seller is selling thid DVD to people in the U.S. and it will not play on thier DVD players, when you complain they say you should have red the small print on the add saying it may not work in the united states
