The classic elegance of the Museum Watch without the markup.
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich This is an absolutely stunning watch. The watch face immediately evokes the classic elegance of the Museum Watch developed by Nathan George Horwitt and later made famous by Swiss Watchmaker Movado.
In lieu of a single circle at 12 o'clock there is a single Wedge. and a date window at 3 pm.
I also own the AU1060-51A which has a silver stainless steel band with silver trim, hands, and a light grey background. I routinely switch between the two and routinely am complimented on both of them.
The crystal is mineral glass instead of sapphire but is still quite scratch resistant and I have not had any scratches on mine.
The quartz movement is within +-3 minutes per year as is normal for quartz based watches, and the watch has 30m water resistance which really means it's "splash" resistant.
I also love the fact that the watch is Eco Drive so I don't have to worry about the battery.
I was able to purchase both watches for less than the price of an entry level Movado. If you wish to have a reasonably priced well made watch that exudes the same simple elegance of a Movado without the outrageous markup, then this is the watch for you.
