Great deal on a great product
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich My DIY want did not suck as well as this product and the velvet material I used is not as soft and plush as this one. I have only cleaned 5 albums so far but I do hear a difference.

Outperforms my audiophile preamp
Since the original Tube-01 had been out of stock for so long, I opted for this more expensive version from Japan and am glad I did. With the stock Russian military tubes or the RCAs I swapped in, the 01j has a very open and vibrant sound. Bass extension is incredible and the highs airy and delicate. The noise floor is pretty low too. I first ran it in with a 12v laptop PS, which was fine, but a 12v regulated linear PS really made the unit shine, especially in the lower registers. I am running it into the HT bypass of my Parasound P5 preamp, so I can do on the fly comparison between the Parasound and the 01j: this little unit is more fun and engaging than the Parasound, which is 10x the price. The Parasound has all the bells and whistles and probably is more accurate with a better grip and control over dynamic music, but the 01j puts a smile on my face. What more could one ask for in a piece of kit?
