Great AM2 CPU upgrade
If you have an old single core AM2 CPU, the Athlon x2 7850 will accelerate your computer.
After making certain that my motherboard's BIOS supported the new CPU,
I removed the old processor and installed the Athlon x2 7850.
Although the Athlon x2 7850 requires a larger heat sink , it is much faster than my old processor.
This CPU turns a single core windows 98 box into a dual core Windows 2000 machine.
