Co founder Bill Wilson used the magazine to keep members apprised of ongoing policy decisions and the development of AA's 12 Traditions and was a prolific contributor. Lives up to the title

My sobriety date is 09/15/12, so currently clean and sober from ALL mind altering substances for 10+ years. My drugs of choice were marijuana, whiskey, and crystal meth. I LOVED weed and had to have it always. After hitting rock bottom I finally sought help and entered into rehab. During my stay, attending Alcoholics Anonymous, Crystal Meth Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous meetings daily or multiple times a day, group classes, getting an AA sponsor, and working a 12 step program. Somewhere in there I was told of the Marijuana Anonymous fellowship. Unfortunately no meetings existed anywhere near me. I obtained this book and started my own meeting at the place that I got sober. I successfully ran that meeting for the next 3 years and by helping the next addict kept myself grounded and sober. Highly inspiring book specifically for the recovering pot head. Kinda ironic that it's been decriminalized now but I was absolutely powerless and my life was BEYOND unmanageable. The good news is we can and do recover and this book and that meeting was a huge part of my critical early recovery...

I was completely addicted to marijuana

I'm a recovering addict/alcoholic and marijuana was one of my drugs of choice. I have now managed to stay clean and sober from ALL mind altering substances for 10+ years and this book was a huge help. Using this book I also started a local Marijuana Anonymous meeting and successfully helped many others whose lives became unmanageable due to weed obsession.
