The movie is a classic but......
The new disc arrived quickly and in fine shape. Nashville is a classic but this Criterion Collection Blu-ray Disc is defective. I have a dvd of Nashville but I wanted to see it in a better format. Upon receiving the disc I jumped ahead to enjoy Ronee Blakey sing Dues. At the end of the song the disc froze than jumped ahead, froze again and so forth. I lent it to my neighbor who had never seen Nashville but has a newer system and she complained about the same problem;though, she was not sure where it started. So my guess is Criterion has failed me. When I have 3 hours I plan on watching it from the beginning to see if the entire disc is a loss.

One of the best
Probably one of the best shows ever. All characters seem real and believable. The main characters are just great. Great acting throughout.
