THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHORE AND FUN
I bought this after borrowing my sister's peeler to deal with her apples. Just suck it down next to your sink and start turning. 30-40 min of paring and cutting becomes 5 min of turning. Easy use, easy cleaning, and doesn't take up more space than it needs to, in operation or storage. This is the sort of thing that's simple and sturdy enough to be passing on to your grandkids (I have some suspicions about how long the vacuum mount will be reliable, but I guess there's always duct tape. Time will tell)

1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I'd been wearing a traditional wind after my old W59 started malfunctioning (you could take it out of the case and set it, but if you pressed any of the buttons while it was in the case, the display would disappear), because I'd looked at newer models and either thought them too bulky (most ladies' watches seem to dainty for me, but men's watches are too bulky) or needlessly pricey. But after I had to reset my wind three times in a four-hour period, I finally gave up and ordered another W59. The buttons/modes makes sense, I can swim with it if I want to, and I've got the stopwatch I like (very useful, that). The only thing I can fault it for is not having that strong of a lamp, but I haven't found any other watches that can do any better (Illuminator included). Curiously enough, this new lamp is green--which sort of makes sense, but was unexpected. I don't know why the old one started acting up--I only wore it near-continuously for 22 years, through two battery replacements and five watchbands.

Of course I bought theses. I always do.
In over 30 years, I've learned that anything much cheaper is junk, and anything better is going to cost a whole lot more.
