Maxell is a good brand.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich So far, they have worked perfectly in my casette recorder. The sound quality they reproduce is excellent and their durability is far better than the last two orders of a different brand of tapes I purchased at the local big box store.

A Timely Wake Up Call
Forstchen explores a wide range of consequences that our society would face if the power grid went down for a long time. It is difficult to imagine that the reader would not be able to recognize in Forstchen's narative, features of his or her own situation which some wise planning and/or action would alter sufficiently in order to significantly improve the chances of surviving should such a calamity strike. The threat of such an event's occurence is real. The high probability that most Americans are nearly completely unprepared for it is also real. One only needs to watch the news reports about the behavior of people who are in the path of such an event as a hurricane and their last minute panic buying and other, often inadequate, efforts to survive, to be convinced. Come to think of it, the preparations for the scenarios portrayed in this "account" would go far in preparing to get through storms, earthquakes, civil unrest as well as EMP attacks. Wisdom dictates careful reading and pondering of Forstchen, then action adapted to one's personal circumstances as they fit the probabilities he describes. The phrase is trite and over-used but, given the state of the world, it applies well- this is a "must read."
