🥰🤔, well this is Jackie Ward so my father put batteries in this Midland weather radio and it doesn't seem to work with the battery so it will work with the AC adapter but I may have to put out an outside antenna to get better reception so that's what happens when you get a product you know well you this radio might be 10 years old I'm not sure thank you though God bless
