Prolonged useful life of HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 printer
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich These printers are know for their failing Control Dashboard Displays; they become unreadable because the LCD screen looses contrast. The printer may still work, but it is extremely difficult to use other functions like Copy & Fax.
This replacement part, which is not available from HP, resolved the problem. The part may have been salvaged from a discarded printer, but at $35.99 it was worth a try and it was successful.
I found instructions on the web on how to replace this part and it was relatively easy (assuming you have basic DIY skills).
