Not very durable for my use
This eyepiece startet to come apart as I took my camera in/out of the bag. The rubber loosened and even though I could attach it again a few times, after a while it's "loops" broke. I even tried to glue it in place but it would still come apart and then I just couldn't use it any more.

Too slow and too noisy
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Pretty slow and very noisy. I also have the Techart Pro adapter for Leica M-lenses which works much better. Techart should update the G-adapter to similar performance.

Not my cup of cup
I liked the form of this eyecup and it was a really nice and tight fit on my A7rII.
I bought this eyecup to see if I could get rid of som of the stray light that comes in when using glasses. The standard eyecup is pretty small and it is hard to get the glass tight to it.
I cut away the flip since it was just getting in the way and hoped it would work fine from there.
But I ran into problems with this because the body of the eyecup is too thick. When I hold my A7rII to my eye I can not see the whole viewfinder image, let alone the upper and lower status lines. This partly has to do with me using glasses. Wen I take them off I do get closer, but still its hard to see the whole image.
In addition, the size and thickness is a problem when using the back screen to compose when the eyecup is attached. It just got in the way when holding the camera, especially when holding it low an looking down on the screen.
All in all it is too big to work well, and I am going back to using the standard eyecup.
