Don't Know Much About the Bible by Kenneth C. Davis
Absolute must read for Bible studiers and EVERYONE else. Kens writing style is excellent and I appreciate not only his wit, but the rich historical background he provides. For those who love to read and learn, this book is both thought provoking and informative. I found this book because I had begun reading his "don't know much about mythology" (also excellent).

The original Jungle Book

A Shephard of Pure Heart
The acting is a little dry, but the movie is excellent. I use this movie in our childrens ministry to help leaders with some insight into rougher inner city childrens ministry. It shows great courage and how to handle problems that may arise. It gives a great look into the lives of everyday kids with real problems in the real world. The under privilaged and their mind sets. What adults working with them can face both with the kids, churches, ministies and our own families. Good insight! Wonderful film.
