Works well
This desk mount is awesome. It's got good magnetic contact and works well. It charges consistently both the phone and mophie battery.
I also have the Mophie Charing pad and by contrast its no where near as good or as strong with its magnet.

Ok but not very magnetic
I purchased this after owning the Mophie desk dock which i think works well.
The problem I have with this base is in comparison its not very magnetic meaning if you use it at night it's difficult to replace your phone and ensure its in the right place to continue charging.
The desk dock almost snaps your phone in place with the magnetic force but this base is hit and miss. It's also not magnetic enough to use vertically should you need to view your phone whilst charging.

Great Battery Case
Purchased this for my iPhone 7 along with the charge force deskmount charger. The phone charges at night conveniently and is very easy to use. I've got access to the phone as my alarm and clock at night as well. Highly recommended.
