SRAM Guide RSC Lever Internals Kit 2nd Generation
    06. Sep 2018
Awesome kit to make your brake new again + Assembly tips
Bought a used bike with Guide RSC brakes. One brake was not working properly and would constantly be either too tight (pads dragging) or too loose (lever to bar). The reach adjustment did not seem to be functioning properly either. Bleeding did not help. Cleaning the caliper pistons did not help. Resettin caliper pistons (push them out / in) did not help. The solution was getting one of these kits and installing it. I suspect that, over time, dirt finds its way into the lever piston and gunks it up, so the piston spring is unable to push the piston all the way back out. This 'locks' fluid in the brake side and prevents venting back into the reservoir side when the brake is off causing the described symptoms. Inspection of the old piston assembly/seals under a microscope revealed the seals were badly worn as well, corroborating the idea that dirt got in. The wear likely also caused some fluid seepage, again leading to aforementioned symptoms. Bottom line: bought this kit. Installed it (pretty straight forward with a couple 'tricks'*). and the brake is now absolutely perfect. better than new. so good i just bought another kit to rebuild the 'good' brake on my bike. * - Trick 1: when re-assembling, assure the phasing of the sleeve and the SwingLink push rod are in time, or the contact adjuster will not function when assembled. The Sleeve is screwed all the way in, so make sure the push rod is screwed to the end that will allow both to rotate (i.e. rod screwed 'out' all the way). - Trick 2: when re-assembling, assure SwingLink orientation is such that the contact roller is pointing 'out' for the lever to contact. if you find yourself struggling to get the pivot pin back in, you likely have it backward. - Yes, the swing link bushings are a bit of a pita, but.......
Trijicon 1x25mm MRO 2.0 MOA Red Dot Sight & High Mount - MRO-C-2200006

    Cant go wrong
The Trijicon MRO is a great little red-dot. As expected from Trijicon, the quality is superb; the reliability and durability are great and overall this will make a great addition to any modern sporting rifle for close quarters work.
Chris King Baseplate, 39.8mm ID for 1.5 Headsets

    The best
If you want the best for your bike, it's hard to beat Chris King components. This starnut is no exception. While it appears generic, it is not: it is typical King high quality and attention to detail. Two star layers with particularly sharp points from undercutting mean this thing will outlast your bike....like most of their stuff.
