Good value
1000 items plus a screwdriver is really good value. Only slight criticism is that the screw and nut compartments aren't labelled as to the dimensions of the contents. Otherwise very pleased.

Not bad at all
5 von 5 finden das hilfreich Bought this to replace an ageing head unit which is not DAB+ and an external aerial. It is well thought out, with the receiver itself attached to the windscreen with the stick-on aerial. The control unit is compact, battery powered and talks to the receiver by Bluetooth so it has no cables attached; this means it's very easy to find a good place to put it on the dashboard. The whole thing is essentially very quick to get going - plug the receiver cable into a USB socket (or use the included fag-lighter adapter if your car doesn't have USB) and either plug the 3.5 mm plug into the aux-in on your car radio, or if it doesn't have one, set the Highway audio-out to FM and it will generate a radio signal on a frequency of your choice between 87.6 and 108 MHz. Attach the aerial to the receiver and it's good to go. If you're happy to have the cable trailing around the car then that's all there is to it. I installed the cable behind the trim and dashboard which took some time, but once done it looks very neat and unobtrusive. The cable is long enough to reach the centre console between the front seats if necessary, which it was in my case as that's where the USB and aux-in sockets are. This system is also Bluetooth, and connected easily to my android phone. Audio quality in both radio and Bluetooth music modes is acceptable.
If I had to mention negative points about it, I'd have to say that although it's not bad, it's not quite as sensitive as my old system. That did however have a proper 1/4 wave external aerial, so it's just physics - an outside aerial will always give better results. Also, as a necessary consequence of being battery powered, the controller goes into standby after so many seconds, and also you don't get any programme (SI) information. It does do traffic information (according to the manual), but I've yet to hear any.
So in conclusion, I don't think it quite justifies the recommended price of about £160, but as I only paid £60 I'm more than happy with it. It would be good if Pure offered an external aerial as an option to improve the reception of more distant multiplexes.
